So for decorative purposes, it is excellent!! Nevertheless, it is not practical since it does not fit many toys. This was not a problem for me since I kept the safari toy box in the play area for decorative purposes (with the amount of toys that I was able to fit) and bought a not so pretty huge toy box that I put in the closet of the play area for the remaining toys. Also, eventhough the bottom part of the toy box came damaged, the company promptly replaced the part. The replacement arrived within a couple of days. They provided great service. It seems fairly solid, though the bottom is quite weak. We'll see how long it lasts. The paint is attractive and the box is large and rather spacious.My complaints: One of the holes was not drilled all the way through. More importantly, the box needs to be assembled in a particular order. However, there are NO step-by-step instructions. There is a diagram, but it isn't much help. As a result of a great deal of trial and error which should not have been necessary, it took me two hours to put this box together. The top is quite heavy and I could have used another pair of hands. Buy it only if you have someone around who is handy, fairly strong, and intuitive about assembling things. |
